13 Steps On How To Nail The Bird Of Paradise:
Simple, yet quite challenging, the bird of paradise yoga pose is one of the toughest seen so far. You can nail this with a whole lot of patience, practise and diligence. Only regulars can do this pose.
- Start off with the warrior pose. Keep the left leg bent and turn the right foot inside.
- Breathe out and allow the left arm to come underneath the left thigh. Raise your right arm towards the sky.
- Now, gently clasp the left wrist using your right hand.
- Allow the hip section to come forward.
- Now, breathe out again. Look down.
- Allow both your feet to stay parallel.
- Check whether your legs are apart. They should be hip distance apart.
- Now, allow them both to straighten and let your torso twist towards the right section.
- Next, you will have to bring the weight to the right foot and begin to lift your entire torso slowly.
- Your body should stay balanced at this point.
- Allow the chest region to open up and allow the lifted leg to stay extended towards the side.
- Fix your vision over the right shoulder and keep yourself in that position for the next 10 breaths.
- Repeat.
