Get creative with beads in the color of your choice and rhinestone gem combinations, and make your own bracelet.

Supplies:

  • A clear elastic cord
  • Sew on rhinestones
  • Vinyl beads
  • Scissors

Steps To Make It:

Step-1 Select your rhinestone design and, accordingly, cut two pieces of elastic cording about 3 times the circumference of your wrist.

Step-2 Then, loop one cord through the right holes of your rhinestone gems and loop the other cord through the left holes. Keep the gems in the center of the cords (so that there is the same length of the cords on each side of the gems).

Step-3 Loop both the elastic cords through the vinyl beads on the right side of the gems. Add beads in the color of your choice and then, loop the cords through the vinyl beads on the left side of the gems.

Step-4 Continue adding vinyl beads until the length of the beads and rhinestones are about ¾” to 1″ larger than the circumference of your wrist. Once you get the desired length, double knot the elastic cords together and cut off the excess portion.

Your bracelet is ready to wear! Ta-dah!

2. Beaded Flip-Flops:

Supplies:

• A pair of flip-flops
• Ribbon ½ inch
• Beads in assorted sizes
• Tiny seashells
• Hot glue gun
• Thread
• Needle

How To Make It:

Step-1 Start by adding a small amount of hot glue on the outer side of your flip-flop’s strap at the base till you reach the end.

Step-2 Wrap the ribbon around the straps on your flip-flops until they are completely covered. Add hot glue to hold the ribbon to secure the ends.

Step-3 Start wrapping the ribbon again around the center “V” and the strap of your flip-flops to fill in. Make sure not to make your “V” too tight otherwise it will be quite difficult to get your feet in.

Step-4 You are ready to start adding your beads. First, put a drop of glue under the beads and seashells, place them on the ribbon and once the glue is dry, start sewing them.

3. Candy Cane Hearts:

Step-2 Arrange the mini candy canes at the top of the sticks in a heart shape.

Step-3 Preheat the oven to 300F and place the heart candies in the oven for around 3 minutes.

Step-4 Once you take them out of the microwave, press both the ends together and pull out the sides to make the perfect heart shape.

Step-5 Fill them with a few teaspoons of melted white chocolate.

Step-6 Finish them off with colored sprinkles.

Step-7 Allow to set for at least 10 minutes and your candies are ready to eat!

  • Mod Podge
  • Headband (Or you can go with a ribbon or an elastic)
  • Glue

How To Make It:

Step-1 Cover the paper cone with an even coating of Mod Podge.

Step-2 Quickly add glitter over it and shake off the excess. Be sure to put down a piece of wax paper before you do this so you can easily funnel your leftover glitter back into its jar. Let it dry completely.

Step-3 Now it’s time to seal the glitter so that you aren’t covered in it every time you wear the hat! Paint another layer of Mod Podge right over your glitter. Let it dry completely. It will turn clear, promise!

Put your hat on and get your jingle on!

To make these perfectly sweet shorts, you require only the most basic sewing skills!

Here’s the list of supplies:

  • A white jeans
  • Chalk piece
  • Thread
  • Needle
  • Scissors
  • Lace in 2 different types
  • Measuring tape

How To Make It:

Step-1 Fold your jeans with the backside out and mark about 12 inches from the top across the pant.

Step-2 Choose a colored chalk piece as it would be difficult to see white color marks on white jeans.

Step-3 Cut your jeans across, on an angle.

Step-4 Now lay the larger piece of lace across the front of your jeans and cut a piece for the bottom of the shorts. Cut several more pieces until the front is covered till the pocket.

Step-5 Next, start cutting the smaller lace to accent the top of the pocket on each side.

Step-6 Once you’re ready with the laces, begin sewing the lace in rows by securing the top corners and several more places in the middle. Leave a little white space in between for a pop!

Step-7 And then, sew the tiny lace on!

Head straight to the nearest summer festival and sport your cutoffs like a total boho babe!

Step-3 Then, remove the backing, and place the contact paper onto the center of your burlap.

Step-4 Paint over the stencil using the black craft paint.

Step-5 Once you’re done with painting, hang the burlap up to dry, the stencil still attached.

Step-6 After it dries out, peel off the contact paper and, finally, you can see the exact design. Peel the contact paper gently so that the design comes out perfect and use them to decorate your hay lounge!

Supplies:

  • Egg shells (empty)
  • Votive candles
  • Scissors
  • Egg crate
  • Glass bowl
  • Cooking funnel
  • Egg cups

How To Make It:

Step-1 Add the candles in a glass bowl and keep it in the microwave at 400 F and allow them to melt for some time. Meanwhile, take the egg shells, clean them and place them in the crate.

Step-2 Once the wax melts completely, take out the wicks and position them perfectly inside the shells. Cut off the extra length from the wick using scissors. The wick should not fall into the shell, and it should stay upright.

Step-3 Now, pour the wax inside the egg shell. For perfect results, use a cooking funnel and then, let it dry for some time.

Step-4 If you are good at arts, decorate the shell using a permanent marker, or you can leave it like that! Put the egg shells into egg cups, and light! Enjoy the evening!

10. Egg Flower Vase:

  • Hot glue gun
  • Glue sticks
  • Sewing machine
  • Thread

How To Make It:

Step-1 Use the longest stitch on your sewing machine and sew down the center of each strip.

Step-2 Start making the rosettes by pulling the threads on each side of the strip to create a gather and then rolling one end of the strip inwards.

Step-3 Roll up the straight end until you’ve made a loose circle with your gathered strip and it resembles a rosette in the middle.

Step-4 Glue the back layer with hot glue.

Step-5 Adhere the rosette to a lampshade with hot glue.

Step-6 Continue the above procedure until your entire lampshade is covered.

Step-3 Prevent the adhesive from getting on the sides of your phone by sticking a tape around it.

Step-4 Then spray the adhesive lightly on your template.

Step-5 Stick the template on your phone case, and then spray one more time.

Step-6 Now add some glitter over it.

Step-7 Remove the template and sprinkle glitter over the entire phone case.

Step-8 Tap off the excess glitter and spray 1 to 2 coats of clear acrylic sealer to keep the glitter in place.

Your DIY phone case is ready to use!

  • Needle
  • Scissors

How To Make It:

Step-1 Lay your skirt on a table and wrap it in the mesh fabric of the same size.

Step-2 Align the seam of the mesh with the zip (be it the back or the side), and if there is no zip, align it with the back for symmetry.

Step-3 Sew up the seam. Leave an opening for the zip, if there is one.

Step-4 Then, fold the top edge of the mesh over the waistband of your skirt and sew it down. Also, sew the mesh on the edges of the zip (make sure to leave the zip open for easy removal!).

Spring is the perfect time for gardening, so why not take the time to make your own herb and spice garden? You can even create fun egghead eggshell planters.

  • Soil
  • Seeds

How To Make It:

Step-1 Take an inch thick strip of cardstock and fold it into a ring. This will hold your egg.

Step-2 Take a clean egg shell and break off the top.

Step-3 Fill it with potting soil using a small spoon. (You can decorate the outside of the egg with a colored marker if you wish to!)

Step-4 Sprinkle some seeds over the soil and cover them with another layer of soil.

Step-5 Add water carefully so that the seeds don’t drown. Keep your egg planter in a sunny location and within a week or so, you should begin to see life in it!

  • Thread to match the zipper or the thread
  • Contrasting color zipper

How To Make It:

Step-1 Cut two pieces of fabric of the length of your zipper. I used a 7” zipper, so I cut two pieces of fabric 7” long and then cut them 8” long.

Step-2 Lay the zipper the right side up and line up one piece of fabric to meet at the bottom edge.

Step-3 Pin along the bottom edge and using the zipper foot on your sewing machine, sew along that bottom edge.

Step-4 Now, take the second piece of fabric and do the same thing to the other side of the zipper.

Step-5 Now, with the zipper at the top, the fabric inside out, pin along the three sides and leave the zipper partially open.

Step-3 Have the mason jars ready and then slowly pour the soy wax into the jars.

Step-4 Put the wick in the jar and slide the tape {the hole} over the wick and secure it to the sides.

Step-5 Let them dry for a few more hours or overnight before trimming the wick and closing them up with the lid.

TIP: You can add a small box of matches inside the jar before you close it up. That way, they don’t have to search for matches. This is also good for emergency candles…it’s hard to find matches in the dark!
