With their army of stylists and makeup artists, it is all but natural to assume that our celebrities would always look their best. But a few pictures on page 3, and it becomes  clear that these divas have more than a fair share of “oops” moments owing to makeup blunders. Strange, isn’t it?

Remember those days when Kareena Kapoor would turn out in unsightly blonde highlights and little too red cheeks? Then, of course, Christina Aguilera had an entire decade dedicated to bad, really bad makeup.The kind that would make my Boston Terrier look beautiful in comparison. BTW, my Boston Terrier makes it to the list of World’s top 5 ugliest dogs.

Moving on, the ladies on screen have become sensible and we have our own list of 12 beautiful women made more beautiful by makeup. They nail it, and that too, every time!

Her eyes belong to seduction and she knows it well but never goes overboard with it. Love the way she usually keeps her tresses running wild. Already popular amongst the guys, she is one person you gotta worship for looking like a million dollar in every appearance.

2. Sonam Kapoor:

Closer home, our very own fashionista and Anil Kapoor’s sweet daughter, Sonam Kapoor has been making India proud in all her international appearances. Earlier we loved her clothes and one fine day we realised that lady has never made a red carpet Makeup mistake. Yeah really!

3. Rihanna:

Are you real? She looks captivating and never seems to go wrong with her reds or blacks or even blues. The word on street is that her makeup artist Mylah Morales is the person behind the impeccable and head turning looks. Mylah…..would you be interested in getting exported to India…please??

4. Priyanka Chopra:

Talking about exports, the last meaningful export India did was in form of Priyanka Chopra. They say if you see Ms. Chopra without makeup, you would be shocked. Now,I am not the bitchy type, nah not at all; but can you now imagine how faultless her makeup is because she gives some serious competition to the Videshi chhoris in Hollywood with her red carpet appearances there. Desi Girl, we are proud of!

5. Mila Kunis:

Give Back Ashton Kutcher!! Okay now to the point; Mila Kunis will never be spotted without her eyeliner. She accentuates the best part of face and downplays the rest. A master stroke we love! And Ashton loves it too….sob sob.

6. Jennifer Lopez:

Jenny has a little more than the world’s most desirable derriere; she has awesome complexion, a great skin and her makeup tricks that never fail! The Latin beauty has us floored with makeup that is never gaudy and gives an amazing sheen to her face.

7. Katrina Kaif:

There is no exaggeration in saying that Katrina Kaif is the queen of nude makeup! She is gifted with a cream and peach complexion you usually read about in Mills & Boons. You will never see her in over the top, dazzling colours ever. A little blush on the cheeks and some mascara is all she needs to look “aah-some”.

8. Deepika Padukone:

One of the top actresses who created quite a stir with the “my Choice” video. Alright, I do not want to get into the controversy! All I wanted to say is this beauty queen has bang on makeup and great style.

9. Alia Bhatt:

The teenager then and a grown up woman now, Alia Bhatt knows her makeup well. Her makeup is always well balanced. We love the fact that she alters it to an extent where is looks just like an out of college kid sometimes and a glamourous diva at others!

10. Anushka Sharma:

Leave Anushka’s lips out of this, we are talking makeup and not surgeries. Now accept that her minimalistic touch ups while cheering for Virat Kohli from stands were definitely alluring! Don’t blame the guy now, he is just human.

11. Scarlett Johansson:

The blond beauty hits it right with dark colours, light colours and no colours too! Her makeup is usually restrained and has a very classy touch we love! Even with a red lipstick she scores brownie points.

12. Beyonce:

Sexy, Sensual and absolutely on the mark- More than her voice we vote her makeup for stealing  millions of hearts around the world. Don’t believe us, ask Jay Z. He is so dazzled by her that he has his shades permanently on!
