Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and, most ironically, it is also a meal we tend to skip very easily, owing to the morning rush and chaos. While breakfast-on-the-go might not be the best idea ever, these are some fun ideas that will not just make you look forward to breakfast, but also inspire you to make some. Take a look at these fun breakfast hacks that will sure make your life so much easier.

This one is not unheard of. Toss some bell pepper slices on a hot girdle, and then crack an egg within the boundaries of the pepper. This will not only enhance the color of the humble egg, but will also add to the flavor. You could enhance this delight by adding some ham, cheese and bacon bits over or under the egg while it’s cooking.

  • 1 Pound – Breakfast Sausage
  • 8 Ounces – Sliced Mushrooms
  • 12 – Eggs
  • 2 – Medium Tomatoes (Diced)
  • 6 – Egg Whites
  • ½ Cup – Milk
  • ¼ Tsp – Dill
  • ¾ Cup – Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper To Taste

How To Make:

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees and grease a muffin tray.
  1. In another pan, over medium heat, crumble and cook the sausage for about 8 minutes, or until it is brown. Once it is done, set aside to cool.
  1. In the water that the sausage left, cook the mushrooms for about 8 minutes, then add the tomatoes and cook for about 3 minutes.
  1. Now lightly beat the eggs, the egg whites, and add the rest of the ingredients along with the sausage, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Pour the mixture into the muffin tins, and top with cheese. Bake for about 25 minutes for a lovely, wholesome breakfast.

All you need is an egg, half an avocado, parsley, salt, and pepper. You could use some bacon if you like.

Now preheat an oven to 400 degrees. Scoop out a little flesh of the avocado and crack an egg in the center of the fruit. Toss it in the oven and bake for about 18 minutes. Chop some parsley and crumble some bacon. Add these over the cooked egg, and sprinkle some salt and pepper to taste.

This takes only two minutes and works so well. All you need is 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of milk, 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese, salt and pepper to taste, and some herbs if you like.

Grease a microwaveable mug, and add the eggs and milk, and whisk well. Cook on high heat for about 45 seconds. Give the mix a quick stir and then cook again for about 30 seconds. Top with salt pepper, cheese, and herbs. Yum! Yum! Yum!

Save the ketchup squeezy once it is empty, wash well and use as a pancake squeezy. Making pancakes has never been so much fun!

This recipe serves 12, and you will need:

  • 30 Ounces – Frozen Hash Browns
  • 1 Pound – Browned Sausage
  • 8 Ounces – Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 8 Ounces – Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 6 – Green Onions, sliced and divided in half
  • 12 – Eggs
  • ½ Cup – Milk
  • ½ Tsp. – Salt
  • ¼ Tsp. – Pepper

How To Make:

  1. Grease the crock-pot and place the hash browns right at the bottom. Now layer half the sausage, the cheese, and the green onions. Repeat the layering with the hash browns, the sausage, the cheese and the green onions.
  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt and pepper, and drizzle this mixture over the layers. Cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours. Serve with some salsa.

This is what you could do with old bread. Just break it up and place it in the crock-pot. Then whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla, and pour the blended mixture over the bread. Cook for 6 hours for warm, juicy bread pudding. Serve with maple syrup.

You have eight tasty bites at your disposal.
