How To Do Zipper Face Makeup?

9:26 AM

Running out of interesting Hollywood makeup ideas this year? Do you want to surprise everyone with something completely out of the box and whacky? If you just found yourself nodding along, then you have to give this post a shot!

Not only is the zipper face look gaining a lot of popularity these days, but it is also a little difficult to nail. People spend a lot of money to create a replica of this. But guess what? We won’t let you go through any of that! If you have some experience in makeup and would love to experiment a bit, then continue with your read!

What You Will Need:

  • Foundation
  • Eyeshadow
  • Black eyeliner
  • Eyeshadow primer
  • Fake vampire blood
  • Liquid latex
  • Eyeshadow brush
  • 8. Red contact lenses

Steps:

  1. The first thing you need to do is apply a thin layer of foundation all over your face. Use a decent makeup sponge for help.
  2. For your eyes, start off with a decent eyeshadow primer. Apply dark brown on the right eyelid. The shade should be very dark.
  3. Blend some black eyeshadow towards the outer corner and then blend the colour.
  4. A black eyeliner should be used for your lower and upper eyelids.
  5. Use liquid latex to place the zipper on your face. Place it on the left side of your face. You have to let it dry for a few minutes.
  6. Remember to let the zipper stick very slowly. Give it some time.
  7. Apply a few spots of liquid latex all over your face. The shape should be similar to an open wound. Once it dries, pull some of it out. It will look like a few pulled-out muscles.
  8. Cover it with black eyeshadow and some fake vampire blood. This will make your wounds look deep.
  9. Next, take some deep red eyeshadow and colour the left section of your face. Make sure it doesn’t exceed the zipper.
  10. You can take a deeper and shimmery shade of red and apply it on top of this.
  11. Finally, apply fake blood using some tissue paper.
  12. If you have missed any of the sections, use red eyeshadow again to cover that up.
  13. When you are re-applying the blood, make sure it doesn’t hit your eyes.
  14. Some red contacts can also be used for your left eye.
  15. And yes! Your zipper face makeup look is now ready.
