5:43 AM

Dear brides-to-be,

We know how difficult and stressful it is to choose your spot on wedding makeup. And if you are planning to do your own makeup like Kate Middleton did, we have rounded up simple procedure and tips on how to create Bobbi Brown wedding makeup.

Read below to look picture-perfect on your big day…

The Art Of Makeup:

1. Mat(te)ch To Perfection:

If you think all wedding makeup is shiny and dramatic, then think again. Gone are the days of being restricted to glossy makeup for your big day. These days, brides are turning to matte for a perfect bridal look. Follow the tutorial below to get Bobbi Brown’s matte mantra…

  1. Cleanse your face with Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil.
  2. Once cleaned, layer a wet, hydrating cream like Extra Repair Moisturizing Balm Spf 25 to give your skin a smooth, plumped up and cushiony look.
  3. Now, apply a small amount of Vitamin Enriched Face Base all over your face to make your makeup stay longer and smoother.
  4. For that perfect matte skin, even out your skin with Intensive Skin Serum Foundation Spf 40.
  5. For a cake-free look, apply Bobbi Brown’s Creamy Concealer all over your face. Start applying from the middle of your face and blend it outwards, just like your primer and foundation.
  6. For maintaining a perfect makeup, dust Sheer Finish Pressed Powder so that your skin doesn’t look oily.
  7. Now apply a natural, soft rosy pink blusher like Brightening Brick – Pastel Pink.

2. Eyes To Kill:

If you are worried that you are going to smudge your eye makeup, we have the perfect solution for you; read below…

  1. Start with applying Bobbi Brown’s new Long-Wear Eye Base, a slightly thicker eye primer that is a must when you’re wearing all white.
  2. Now, apply a pale shimmery golden beige eyeshadow over it – we prefer Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sandy Gold.
  3. Next, line your eyes with Bobbi Brown’s Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner.
  4. For thicker lashes and to make your eyes big, curl your lashes and stick full lash strip falsies.
  5. Finish off the look by swiping double coats of No Smudge Mascara.

3. Defined Brows:

Make sure you have your eyebrows perfectly groomed before your wedding to avoid any hassle. Use black eyebrow pencil (Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil) to fill in any gaps, and apply a wash of powder and set with Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up, so that they stay in place!

4. Fuller And Plumper Lips:

Whether you want soft color or a statement pop, read below as we tell you how to get kissable lips…

  1. Just like your face, start by preparing your lips by exfoliating and moisturizing them. Use specially formulated Bobbi Brown Lip Balm that will keep your lip hydrated. Once done, blot it with the help of a tissue about 15 minutes before you apply your lipstick.
  2. Then fill in your entire lip, starting from the middle with Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Sunset Orange, which will allow you to hold the lip color longer. You can also use a darker and brighter shade and follow the same procedure, but ideally opt for the exact or lighter shade that compliments your blush.
  3. Next apply Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Salmon with the help of a thin brush.
  4. Take another tissue paper, place it over your lips and dust loose powder over your lips.
  5. Now, apply another layer of lipstick to seal off the look.
