1. Toddler Glow:
Unless you are looking for a Halloween makeup, going effortlessly bare is the best thing for your kid.
To achieve the look, just apply a small amount of moisturizer followed by a tiny bit of light foundation, we recommend Paul & Joe Limited Edition Pearl Foundation Primer in Bonbon. Now for a natural look, dust a light translucent powder to keep everything in hold. Once done, pick a flattering peachy, shimmery blusher, like NARS Sex Appeal — Pale Peach and use a brush to apply it just on the apple of their cheeks.
Tip: Make sure you allow your kid’s smooth and glowing complexion to do the talking.
2. Subtle Eyes:
Use colors from tan, bronze, peach or taupe family to enhance the nude eye makeup without actually going bare.
1. Eyes To Kill:
Since most of the kid’s have small eyes, follow these steps and accentuate their eyes in a natural-looking way.
- To make your kid’s eyes look bigger, smear their eyelids with white shadow and blend it evenly, this will instantly make their eyes stand out and look large! We prefer Nyx Cosmetics Eye Shadow Base White which glides on smoothly and doesn’t fade or leave creases on eyelids.
Tip: You can also use a small amount of eye shadow, which can either be shimmery or matte finish, doesn’t matter as long as it is light in colour.
- Another effective way to pop small eyes is by using a white eye pencil (like Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in White) to dot some white line right against the inner corners of their eyes. This look will instantly give a major eye lift without trying too hard.
2. Get Lashed:
Also known as the makeup kit staple, a flick of a good mascara can make or break your kid’s look. So we suggest Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara or Lancôme Définicils High Definition Mascara to lift and define lashes plus, give them a sculpted look. For that solid oomph factor, wriggle 3-4 coats to the top and bottom eye lashes.
3. Curl It Up:
You can skip this step if you are reluctant, but an eyelash curler can give a lot of extra oomph and make your kid’s eyes appear wider and open. While recreating this look, we suggest you to take a Sally Hansen La Cross Double Curl Eyelash curler and curl their lashes both before and after you have applied mascara.
3. Pout Perfection:
Finally, for that overall look – nail the natural lip.
Copy the Look by applying a nude lipstick or gloss, but in case you want to add little life to your child’s lips opt for a sheer peachy hue. Not only that the colour warms the skin and looks youthful and fresh. We prefer Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick in Eccentric, which will not require the prep or any reapplication – a perfect compliment to a natural look. Plus, the colour is flattering on every skin tone.
