Is it possible that a simple kitchen ingredient like baking soda can help cure cancer? Well, yes; latest studies and research have revealed that baking soda on its own, or even when used in combination with lemon, can prove to be extremely helpful in fighting the cancerous cells.

Need For An Alternative Treatment:

Cancer rates are increasing at an alarming speed. Despite intensive research and studies, the conventional medicine is yet to find a definite solution for curing different types of cancer that affect humans. One thing that is common with all the treatments is that the effect varies depending upon the type of cancer. Nonetheless, the studies that are being carried out in different countries related to the effect of sodium bicarbonate on the cancer tumors have revealed interesting results. Although the research is still in its initial stages, the results so far have shown that baking soda can contribute hugely in restricting tumor metastasis.

Using Lemon And Baking Soda To Treat Cancer:

According to Dr. Robert J. Gillies and his team, baking soda can effectively neutralize cancer in mice by alkalinizing the surrounding area and making the cancerous cells starve without oxygen. During their research, these scientists found out that regular intake of baking soda enhances the pH of the tumor and also resists the further growth of breast cancer in mice.

Lemon is known to contain anti-carcinogenic properties. Limonoides, present in lemon, are phytochemicals that are also found in almost all citrus fruits. The strong anti-microbial effect of lemon effectively limits the growth of cancerous cells, which attach to the body like fungus. When both lemon and baking soda were used together to fight the fungus of different types of cancerous cells, they inhibited the cancerous growth.

Baking Soda And Lemon Combination – Better Than Chemotherapy

Lemon is an effective detoxifier, is rich in vitamin C, and neutralizes the body protecting it from the cell-damaging free radicals. Just like baking soda, lemon too effectively balances the pH of the body, and hence, when used together, they introduce a high level of alkalinity to the system. Take 250 ml water and mix half a teaspoon of baking soda and half lemon juice in it. Drink this mixture every day before going to bed, or even in between the meals. When taken along with the meal, it will reduce the acidic level of the stomach. The same combination can also be carried out through intravenous therapy, but under the guidance of a health professional.

The High pH Therapy:

Apart from lemon, there are other ingredients, which, when used in combination with baking soda, have been found to be extremely beneficial. Balancing the alkaline level is the basic concept behind the use of baking soda for treating cancer. When a patient of IV prostate cancer, Vernon Johnston, substituted cytotoxicity with molasses and baking soda, he effectively could raise his body’s pH levels to alkalinity (2). To the surprise of the oncologists, he recovered completely from cancer within 12 days. The study, published in the Natural Society’s alternative medicine publication, reveals how Johnston made an alkaline concoction using molasses and sodium bicarbonate. In both the above combinations, the key is to increase the alkalinity of the body.

Why Is Baking Soda Effective Against Cancer?

It is a known fact that cancer cells become dormant if the alkaline level of the system is between pH 7.0 to 7.5. Therefore, when the alkalinity of the body reaches pH 8.0 and 8.5, the cancer cells die. By introducing baking soda along with other alkaline ingredients, you can make your body’s system reach a level at which the cancer cells cannot survive.

Side Effects:

Conventional cancer therapies have innumerable side effects. They increase the toxic level in the body and the chemotherapy badly affects the immune system, making the system vulnerable to external attacks.
