It is a well-known fact that makeup can completely transform a woman’s look. But this video proves exactly how drastically cosmetics can change your features. An unnamed South Korean woman’s video showing her removing her makeup has gone viral (over 2.8 million views since its upload on May 2). What strikes most is the difference between her original face and her made-up face. Concealers, foundation, eye shadows, eyeliners, and mascaras – they can really work wonders!

She takes a makeup remover, most probably the ‘Face it white lip & eye remover waterproof’ by The Face Shop, shakes it vigorously, and daubs a generous amount on a fairly large cotton swab. She then holds it over her right eye for a half a minute and then rubs it gently in circular motions, moving towards her eyebrows and forehead. She removes the makeup from only the right half of her face, and the result is mind boggling! It looks like two different faces clubbed together!

Sans makeup, her pristine face looks more aged and darker, her eyebrow a thin, light line, and her eye a different shape altogether. The huge change in the size of her eyes is what really surprised the viewers. There is every chance that she may be wearing iris enlarging contact lenses, double eyelid tape, or those fan like artificial lashes, but surprisingly, the clip shows no evidence of her removing any of these things. So, we are forced to believe that there were no such things, leaving the entire credit to the eyeliner and mascara that had given her the perfect cat eye look.
